Privacy Notice
Who we are
templixar (“templixar”, “we”, “us”) operates templixar.com, an online store selling professional digital templates. templixar is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. If you have questions about your data, contact us through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
- Order details — the email address used at checkout, the templates purchased, amounts paid and order status. Card numbers are not stored by us.
- Messages — the content of enquiries and feedback you send us through our forms.
- Technical data — browser type, device type, pages viewed, and IP address, used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it, and why
- To deliver the templates you buy and their download links — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To create and secure your account, and keep records of orders — necessary to perform our contract and to comply with legal obligations.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support — necessary to perform our contract.
- To keep the site safe, prevent fraud and misuse, and improve our products and website — based on our legitimate interests.
- To send you updates about your orders, and marketing only where you have opted in — based on consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle collects your payment details, processes payments, handles taxes and issues invoices on its own secure systems under Paddle’s privacy terms. We never see or store your full card number.
Sharing your information
- Paddle.com — as our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Service providers — hosting, email delivery and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting and insurance advisers where needed.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law or to protect our rights.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep order and delivery records for as long as needed to fulfil your purchase, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations (typically up to seven years where records are legally required). Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account deletion, except where we must retain records by law.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to authorised personnel, and separation of payment processing from our systems through Paddle.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where we no longer need it, restriction or objection to certain processing, and a portable copy where the law requires it. You can also withdraw consent for marketing at any time and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, contact us through our contact page; we respond within one month.
Cookies
We use essential browser storage only — a shopping cart, your recently viewed templates and your sign-in session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block this storage in your browser settings; the cart and sign-in will simply reset.
